Police obstruct rescue with for 20 mins, refusing to open the gate
More than 10 people inside Hong Kong Police Headquarters called the ambulance, reporting sickness. Later, police condemned protesters for obstructing the rescue by blocking the main gate. However, legislative councilors Fernando Cheung and Kwok Ka-ki pointed out that the ambulance men could have entered from the main entrance of Hong Kong Police Headquarters, but were rejected by police officers, claiming that they had lost the keys of the main gate, and therefore the rescue was delayed for 20 minutes.
