Regulations of prohibition on group gathering (prevent and control of disease have been implemented since yesterday. One of the regulations is prohibit group gathering more than 4 persons, effective from the 28 March for 14 days. The law has been effective for half days, violations occur in many places.
29 of March, around 11 am, apart from the gather hot spot of domestic helpers ,Central and Tai Po Market; Mong Kok footbridge has over hundreds domestics helpers gather around. They sit on the floor, some the groups have 7 to 8 persons; they chat and eat together. Most of them do not wear a mask, the distance between groups cannot meet 1.5m. The citizens worry about the situation may spread disease; hence the citizens call the police. 20 minutes later, the police arrives; however, they just speak to few of the domestic helpers and leave. The police does not ask them to leave or keep social distance. The police just patrol around and leave.
