20200321 Riot police (PTU) fired tear gas at residential areas in Yuen Long and insulted residents, ‘You’re poor and have to live here.’

On 21st March 2020 night, a civilian in Yuen Long was dissatisfied with the police firing tear gas in residential areas and scolded the police at the attic. Police officers repeatedly ‘invited’ that civilian to go down and discuss but he was ignored. They were ridiculed by that civilian for shrinking their head and being nobody without gears.

Bystanders also mocked the police for being undisciplined. After so, the officers lost their temper and shouted at the civilian at the attic, ‘Don’t live here. But you’re poor and have to live here.’ ‘Because of you all, I’m getting paid another hundred thousand this month.’ At last, a few officers who had argued with the civilians left and returned to their cordon line.
